We are partnering with a global systems integrator to recruit critical roles within their Cloud business (professional services).
 
As a Cloud Architect you’ll play a crucial role in planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling various technical aspects. If you have a solid background in cloud infrastructure, and experience in system/network setup and upgrades, please apply.
 

Responsibilities:
 
  • Plan, execute, monitor, and control the technical aspects of our projects, ensuring their successful implementation and completion.
  • Manage or actively participate in the setup and upgrade of system/network infrastructure projects, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Take charge of designing and solutioning end-to-end requirements, ensuring they align with project objectives and meet our clients' needs.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of tender proposals, RFQs, RFIs, and participate in RFPs to contribute to successful project acquisition.
  • Provide comprehensive project documentation and reports, ensuring transparency and effective communication within the team and to stakeholders.
  • Diagnose and rectify technical issues, applying your expertise to overcome challenges and maintain project progress.
 

Requirements:
 
  • Tertiary Degree in the technology field preferably
  • 4 + years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure implementation, design, and solutioning.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Windows server OS, Unix/Linux OS in virtual environments.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with Virtualisation and Hypervisors, with preference given to those familiar with Nutanix platform is a plus.
  • Proficient understanding of VPNs, firewalls, and other security appliances.
  • In-depth knowledge of network switches/routers and their configurations.
  • Familiarity with Container technology and various platforms.
  • Exhibit a deep understanding of various IT functionalities that constitute a complete IT System Infrastructure.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Be a proactive, dynamic, and analytical thinker, contributing positively to the team's success.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, displaying strong interpersonal skills.
