I am currently recruiting for a Fractional Chief Medical Officer (roughly 40-50%) for a biotech business that is about to take its first product into first in human trials. It’s an obesity product that has a lot of people very excited and is obviously one of the hot topics right now.
As the Chief Medical Officer, you will be fulfilling the role of a CMO as well as being hands on in overseeing medical aspects of the trial. You will speaking with investors, appearing at conferences, engaging KOL’s and exploring potential partnerships for the development of the product as well as the hands on activities of overseeing the work of the CRO’s. It’s a very small and early-stage company so there is a need to be flexible in roles and responsibilities but has a solid core of very experienced professionals.
What this role holds in the future is still up in the air and depends on your goals, there are additional products they are working on that they would look to take to trial but for now we are not comfortable promising a full time position in the future.
