Role Overview:

As an Oracle Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, customizing, and integrating Oracle E-Business Suite applications with other systems. You will also provide ongoing support and future enhancements for these solutions. This role involves extensive travelling to partner with teams in Singapore and the US.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom solutions within Oracle EBS using PL/SQL, Java, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow, Oracle Application Express (APEX), and BI Publisher
  • Develop custom Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports, ensuring seamless integration with Oracle EBS
  • Utilize Oracle ADF, BI Publisher, and Oracle Application Express (APEX) for advanced reporting and application development
  • Write efficient, reusable, and reliable PL/SQL code including packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
  • Develop Oracle DB Objects such as Tables, Views, Triggers, Procedures, Functions, and Jobs
  • Create and optimize complex SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation
  • Develop data migration tool/custom PL/SQL scripts and perform conversion
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and PL/SQL code to ensure optimal application performance
  • Collaborate with business partners, Systems Analysts, and Application Developers to translate business requirements into logical, component-based technical designs
  • Meet service level agreements for production support response and resolution
  • Follow documentation, software development methodology, version control and testing, and migration standards
  • Develop a cooperative environment that fosters knowledge sharing
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to others in areas of expertise
  • Review code and make recommendations based on industry best practices, participate in analysis discussions to ensure business requirements are met

 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3 – 6 years of relevant Oracle application development experience
  • Oracle EBS Certification is a bonus
  • Strong technical knowledge in Oracle applications, SQL, and PL/SQL
  • Working knowledge and experience in Unix/Solaris environment, as well as experience in developing solution in a warehouse environment
  • Oracle EBS Certification is a bonus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is a must as you will liaise with English and Chinese speaking stakeholders.
  • Business travels to the US is required
  • Open to Singapore, US and International candidates with relevant technical and language (English and Chinese) skills for internal & external communications and engagement
