Working with one of our VC firms as they look for a Project Manager for one of their very early-stage Medical Device start-ups.

This is the chance to join a company in the very early stages and help take an idea through to a fully functioning product, this is the chance to lead the product design and development right at the formation of the business (not continue with other people’s ideas).

It is an early stage so you are clearly going to wonder about longevity but the VC have already signed up to fund the company and will also be providing a great deal of additional support outside of money.

If you can create a great product there is the chance for you to then move into a CEO position and oversee the regulatory approval and commercialisation of it too.
 
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
  • Lead and manage overall company operations, including day-to-day portfolio management.
  • Provide leadership in designing and refining product specifications, including clinical test method evaluation.
  • Oversee cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, fundraising, quality assurance, clinical trials, and regulatory activities, to achieve project milestones and commercialization goals.
 
The Project Manager will be/have:
  • Relevant experience in the medical device industry
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Project management, design, product development experience preferred
