We are currently looking for a Sales Engineer to work for a global equipment provider that specialises in selling products to the Biopharma and Medical Device industries.
This role will be to take over an existing portfolio (current incumbent has moved internally to a technical role) so whilst you will need to bring in new clients you won't be starting from zero.
You will be the sole Sales Engineer in Thailand for now so everything will be open to you, no splits but you will also work with the wider APAC and global teams to collaborate on clients.
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for:
Maintain and expand customer relationships by ensuring company’s products are specified, conducting customer training, and identifying new project opportunities.
Achieve or exceed sales targets by identifying design consultants and engineering contractors, increasing market share, organizing field trials, and staying updated on competitor activity.
Keep CRM updated and communicate with Southeast Asia teams and the Sales Manager about project progress, potential product improvements, and marketing activities, while adhering to the Quality Management System and attending relevant exhibitions.
The Sales Engineer will be/have:
Relevant engineering and sales experience to pharma or biopharma clients
Educational background of Medicine, Pharmacy, Biomedical or any related Bio courses will be preferred
Experience in in Fluid Handling industry (Pumps) – preferred
Proficient in in both English writing and reading competencies for internal & external communications and engagement
