We are currently looking for a Sales Specialist to cover the HK and Macau market for a global diagnostics company.

The company have a range of products some of which they are the local market leader and some in which they are not, but regardless are well known in this space. You will be able to use this name and your knowledge to continue to dominate with the leading products and grow the others.

It's a small team (1 other person) so you won't be fighting with your colleagues for sales and territory in a small geographical region but will also have the support of a larger company with other locally based functions (it’s a 15-person office).
 
The Sales Specialist is responsible for:
  • Promote cytology, perinatal, and molecular products to meet sales objectives, achieve sales and margin goals, and identify key medical professionals to target for referrals. Plan and conduct sales calls, educate medical personnel, and manage account reviews to identify customer needs and growth opportunities.
  • Provide pre-and post-sales support, address client concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction. Conduct educational programs, provide technical product support, and collaborate with Field Services and Applications teams for seamless support. Organize marketing activities to engage customers and enhance brand influence.
  • Deliver market analysis, competition assessment, and build referral networks. Implement corporate brand strategy at key accounts, submit reports on territory operations, product performance, and competitive activity, and communicate updates to management.
  • Submit timely reports, work with supply chain and other functions, maintain an updated customer relationship management database, and adhere to territory budgets. Attend corporate training, participate in team events, and comply with company policies and relevant legislation.
 
The Sales Specialist will be/have:
  • Relevant sales experience
  • Degree in BioMedical Science (Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology) or equivalent Science degree.
  • Experience in laboratory cytology, molecular cytology/anatomical pathology, diagnostic testing facilities, and methodology, including familiarity with clinical and molecular guidelines, assay design, sample preparation, instrument operation, and software/data analysis.
  • Relevant market access/ KOLs development experience
