Brian Chan

Brian Chan leads the Legal and Governance Practice in Greater China at Ethos BeathChapman, overseeing qualified legal, risk and compliance, company secretarial and senior legal and business support recruitment across private practice and the financial services and commercial in-house sectors.

Brian has a strong track record in placing partners, counsels and associates into international, PRC and local law firms in the region. He is a law graduate and over his years in legal recruitment, has established strong market knowledge over numerous practice areas including dispute resolution, corporate, investment funds, IP/TMT and real estate and more.

He is frequently endorsed by his clients and candidates as being the best advisor, providing effective solutions and genuine advice for achieving recruitment objectives and career goals.

Prior to Ethos BeathChapman, Brian was the legal practice lead at a British-based global recruitment firm where he managed permanent legal assignments. He also successfully developed their legal contracting desk to provide more flexible and agile solutions to financial services, commercial and law firm clients.

Brian has a strong passion for travelling, and is a big lover of Disney, history, movies, music and sports.
