The Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced individual to take on the role of VP, Underwriting Risk Management. As a key player in the organization, you'll be responsible for shaping and executing policies and strategies related to regional distribution risk. You will collaborate with relevant departments, providing senior-level reviews and challenge for underwriting applications. Your deep credit knowledge and transaction experience will be essential in conducting credit and market risk assessments of underwriting positions. Additionally, you will review and challenge the MtM position of unsold exposures and contribute to the development of corresponding strategies.
 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience (with at least half in corporate finance origination and/or 5-7 years in the loan syndication team)
  • Strong Credit and Underwriting Analysis experience in Wholesale Corporate Banking
  • Good working knowledge of Risk Report Development
  • Meticulous with the ability to work under tight timelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
