Cheryl is at the Head of Audit for Transaction Banking / Client Coverage Operations and Financial Crime Surveillance Operations at Standard Chartered Bank (SCB). She is a leader who strongly believes in coaching her team and is passionate about people. She loves discovering others' (adults and kids) strengths and in doing amazing things together.
Cheryl is a mother of 3 kids (ages 13, 11 and 10) and has survived her first PSLE with her eldest. She calls SCB home for its supportive leadership and culture. Alongside SCB, she invests in developing the careers of working mothers.
Shalynn is responsible for leading the company’s Banking & Financial Services and Accounting & Finance practices within the APAC region. Shalynn is committed to building and maintaining deep relationships with her clients and candidates. She strongly believes in the power of long-term partnerships. She is a nurturing leader and mentors her team with the aim to grow together.
As a female leader who has worked hard to rise through the ranks, Shalynn never misses an opportunity to encourage women / mothers to thrive in the business world. She is expecting a baby and understands more than ever, the need to provide mothers with meaningful support and guidance.
Laura has been with Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) for 8 years and has had 2 boys (ages 3 and 1) during her time at SCB. In this time she also explored multiple roles within SCB HR. Having started as a regional talent acquisition coordinator lead for ASA, she then moved to the Organisation Design team and now sits within the Employee Relations team.
Laura strongly believes in the importance of striking a healthy balance between career and family. She loves her roles as a mother and as a HR professional, and values both her time in the office and at home.
