Rahul Chawla leads the Human Capital Solutions consulting practice for Aon in Southeast Asia (SEA). Human capital solutions, comprising of talent and rewards consulting, partners with clients to help make them better decisions on their workforce.
Before moving to SEA in 2016, Rahul was based in the Aon Shanghai office as a consulting director. He has more than 15 years of core human capital development experience spanning both line and strategic HR and has worked across industries in India, China and Southeast Asia. He brings in a strategic point of view in the areas of total rewards, performance and governance. His strength lies in linking various outcome areas in HR for maximum business impact.
With Aon in the APAC region, he has led large local and regional projects on M&A, Total Rewards, Engagement and Culture in broader Financial Services, Technology, Manufacturing Property, and Telecom. He has also published white papers on the Rewards and Governance landscapes in SEA, China and APAC and is a frequent speaker at industry forums.
Before joining Aon, Rahul was working as a Senior Manager, HR for Airtel in India. Airtel is India’s largest telecom company with operations in 20 other countries besides India and is the world’s third largest telecom company by subscriber size. In tenure, Rahul gained cross-functional HR experience through varied roles in HR Strategy & Projects and Business Partnering.
Kerry O'Shea is a Head of Recruiting Diversity Equity & Inclusion in People Operations (HR) at Google Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, he joined Google in 2011 and helps drive key diversity and inclusion initiatives across Asia and globally.
For his first 7 years at Google, he managed teams of recruiters covering Southeast Asia, Japan, China, and India. Prior to Google, Kerry worked in recruitment and HR management roles for over 2 decades across the biotech, investment banking, technology, and executive search sectors.
As a trainer, coach and mentor, he has facilitated workshops for thousands of Google employees, managers and leaders on topics like mission, culture, strategy, change, influencing, decision making, adaptability, inclusion, and overall team effectiveness.
Kerry also runs leadership workshops for external venture company founders as part of Google for Startups initiatives, frequently coaching CEOs 1x1 on people issues. He is a mentor for startups under the UN Sustainable Development Goals initiative. Kerry has also joined National Skills Advisory panels for the Singapore government, and was a Part Time Lecturer (Tutor) at NTU from 2019-2021.
A graduate of Trinity College Dublin (BA Business & Economics) and London Business School (executive education), Kerry is married with a son. His interests include travel, comedy, poetry, movies and music.
Claire specialises in technology sales and solution architecture recruitment for technology and banking & financial services clients across Southeast Asia.
Skilled in business development and key account management, Claire has been a vital partner to overseas companies building their commercial teams in Singapore. Her placement record includes but not limited to Managing Directors, Vice President of Sales, Sales Directors, Solution Architects, Sales Enablement, Channel Sales, Presales, Customer Success and Sales Operations appointments across Asia.
Claire is generous about sharing her expertise, having previously been featured on Channel 8’s prime time news where she contributed job search recommendations and insights into Singapore’s employment market. She takes exceptional pride in her work and as an active learner, Claire enjoys staying ahead of the latest technology news.
Outside of work, she is a committee member of Jalan Kayu Youth Network, a Grassroots Organisation under the People's Association, which is a platform designed to unify and amplify the voices of young people in Singapore.
