For our venture-backed client, we are exclusively managing the search to appoint the pioneering commercial leader for Asia Pacific. The organisation has expanded at a rapid pace and enjoys a renowned reputation in Europe, US and other locations where it services regulated enterprise organisations. This key initial hire will focus on expanding and driving exponential YOY growth for the entire region including key markets such as Singapore, Australia, Japan and Korea.
 
We are seeking a goal-driven, commercially motivated and dynamic leader to open the Commercial APAC office in Singapore. Ultimately this person will build a go-to-market team to drive regional expansion anchored on a growing base of existing commercial enterprise clients. You will recruit and manage a team of Account Executives and Pre-Sales Analysts in Singapore to broadly cover the APAC region.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Launch the brand and scale the regional presence of this fast growing organisation in APAC for the first time, this includes operational, managerial and financial oversight.
  • Own APAC Commercial P&L with primary responsibility over Go-to-Market strategy, sales achievement, customer account growth (NDR), client renewals (GDR), and operating expenses. 
  • Promote/expand brand presence with new and current customers by “walking the halls” and building relationships with influencers, key decision makers, end-users, and go-to-market partners.
  • Lead market planning and design sales force composition on an annual basis to optimize territory, lead generation / business development, and revenue achievement within budget.
  • Manage and optimize all sales, presales, alliance and account management assets under your regional guidance.
 
Requirements
  • Approx 15-20 years proven track record in commercial software sales, account growth, and retention focusing on GRC, Fraud Management, Risk Intelligence and other associated functions.
  • Experience working with venture-capital, private equity with regional revenue growth from zero to SGD20M ARR
  • Proven networks and exposure across all of APAC (Singapore, Japan, Australia etc).
  • This role will be based in Singapore and will require approx. 40% travel.
