A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a fast paced, dynamic tech driven financial services compoany based in the heart of the CBD.  You will work as part of a high performing Financial Operations team, responsible for managing the payment processing for all Australia and APAC entities.

As the Accounts Payable Officer your responsibilities will include:
  • Day to day processing of all invoices across multiple entities in the APAC region
  • Management of internal/external correspondence emails and enquiries
  • Performance of routine supplier statement reconciliations
  • Management of corporate credit cards and expense claims
  • Payments processing (vendors, intercompany and brokerage settlements)
  • Performing new vendor set up procedures and maintenance of vendor master data
  • Managing internal staff and external creditors relations, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the business
  • Various General Ledger activities (journal entries, marking payments, system maintenance, etc)
  • Adhering to the Risk & Control framework and ensuring relevant policies are adhered to, contributing to revision of policies to achieve both strong controls and organisational efficiencies
  • Support control assurance and internal/external audit reviews
  • Assisting with continuous process improvement initiatives

The role will suit an individual with extensive experience in the Accounts Payable function. Possessing at least 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced commercial environment, you will be given the opportunity to take ownership, work closely with key finance and business stakeholders and drive efficiencies and process improvements, as part of a high performing financial operations team.

  • 3+ years’ experience as an Accounts Payable specialist for a medium to large sized organisation
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong control mindset and high level of integrity
