I am working with another VC firm as they look to find a CEO for one of their portfolio businesses, an early stage Medical Device company in Singapore.
At the moment they are small, really small but they have done a large amount of the ground work. The product is finished and clinical trials are taking place in both Singapore and the US. They are also moving to the final stages of securing additional funding.
Now they are looking at next steps and that is where the CEO comes in. What do they need to do next? Who do they need in the team to make it happen? What is the go-to-market strategy?
They are looking for somebody who has been through this before at a Medical start-up but probably not been a CEO before, somebody looking to take knowledge learned before and step up. It will still be very hands on as they don't have the manpower right now but will offer you the chance to lead the buildout rather than follow orders.
