Our client who is a global engineering firm headquartered in Singapore is seeking a Manager in Corporate Communications. The candidate will come with 7 to 12 years of experience across both agency and in-house roles where you have experience developing integrated communication strategies, manage media relations, focus on both digital and traditional PR channels to elevate the company’s brand and narrative globally.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute integrated communications plans in line with the PESO model (paid, earned, sharedand owned) to support business objectives
  • Develop and execute strategic media relations plans including story pitching to drive positive earned media coverage, seeking opportunities to maximise positive exposure for the Group and its leadership
  • Manage media relations including responding to media queries, facilitating media interviews, developing good working relationships with journalists and maintaining media lists/contacts
  • Develop effective PR and communications content
  • Support issues media monitoring, analysis of media coverage and social media content
  • Source and develop stories for external and internal audiences
  • Source and develop content for our digital media platforms (eg. corporate website, intranet, social media) and collaborate with the internal and digital communications teams on execution
  • Support key exhibitions/trade shows/events as needed
 
Requirements: 
  • Bachelor degree or above
  • 7 years of experience in an MNC environment ideally across both in-house and agency roles
  • Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to create engaging offline and online content, including breaking down complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand stories.
  • Possess good media relations, with a keen understanding of media and the news cycle, as well as proven success in achieving earned media coverage.
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • A strong command of English and excellent writing skills, with the ability to develop compelling content for internal & external communications and engagement for a variety of audiences and channels. Mandarin speaking is a plus.
  • Experience in social media and managing events.
