We are currently looking for a NPI Senior Manager for a Medical Device company in JB. This is a newly created position to manage a small team as they have a large number of new products making their way to manufacturing.
 
This isn’t about just adapting the new products to their current manufacturing process, but they are looking for you to work with the R&D team and design processes from scratch. They are looking to modernize and will give you the freedom to look at the latest technologies to make the manufacturing process as efficient as possible.
 
The NPI Senior Manager will be responsible for:
  • Lead the implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment, ensuring compliance with OH&S guidelines and resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborate with Product Development teams to ensure new product manufacturability, oversee process validation, and maintain production procedures.
  • Drive quality and efficiency improvements using methodologies like GMP, Six-Sigma, and LEAN, while managing resources and fostering cross-functional team collaboration.
 
The NPI Senior Manager will be/have:
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing engineering or related roles
  • Leadership in New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and project management experience preferred
  • Degree qualified in Engineering
