  • Leading Real Estate company, small team lead role
  • You must have managed full cycle of property investment deals (from sourcing, acquisition, closing), deal size > $30m and experience with Australia markets are advantageous (amongst other SEA markets)  
Responsibilities would include: 
  • Work closely with CEO and CFO on the corporate strategy and expansion plans for South-East Asia
  • Review the investment strategy, seek out new investment opportunities that generate acceptable returns for the company
  • To oversee existing real estate investment portfolio, financial evaluations of potential targets, prepare board papers for recommended acquisitions and divestments
  • Develop good networks with local agents to source for potential acquisitions in SEA (operating businesses and real estate) for expansion and other related investments.
  • Undertake market research and analysis on industry peers and track market and regulatory developments in the region to provide insights on the industry. Compile financial data, perform financial and operational analysis and prepare presentation materials for presentation to Board.
  • Negotiate terms of lease agreements and reviewing tenancy agreements and other legal contracts.
  • Take charge of regular reporting of Investment activities and performance of existing facilities for Management's review.
  • Work closely with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to facilitate seamless transaction processes 

Profile of ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in Real Estate or Business Development/Corporate Development/Strategic Planning roles.
  • Strong understanding and in-depth knowledge of real estate
  • Numerically competent and able to independently develop complex financial models and yet convert the numbers into useful visual information to enable management to make decisions.
  • Possess strong analytical, research, negotiation, problem solving and communication skills
  • Respond well to changing circumstances and tight timelines
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
