  • Candidates must have solid banking experience, with a well-established network and strong understanding of the core commercial banking products for NBFI clients

Responsibilities:
  • Deal lead for fund finance transactions, tailoring debt solutions for various private fund structures
  • Sourcing and origination, structuring and pricing, preparing term sheets, deal memo and recommendation, and deal execution
  • Drive the business development of Non-Bank Financial Institutions (‘NBFI’) clients within a dedicated NBFI coverage team, providing comprehensive relationship management for those clients headquartered or with a presence in Singapore
  • Devise and execute strategies to identify and grow client network in key subsectors within the NBFI milieu, including but not limited to: Funds, Securities & Brokers, Insurance & Brokers, Asset Management & Wealth Management, Alternative finance, FinTech & Paytech
  • Responsible for assigned revenue growth target and risk management (both financial and non-financial) activities in relation to the NBFI sector and the clients under management, ensuring operations are within the Bank’s risk management appetite parameters
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across various business lines
  • Understand the fast-changing market dynamics and regulatory updates that will often challenge conventional coverage and credit assessment methodologies; identify the key risks and mitigants where balance sheet support is required
  • Deliver assigned revenue target and implement strategy to increase market awareness
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline 
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience
  • Well-established network and knowledge of Asset/Wealth Managers, Funds, Alternative Finance, Insurance and Fintech
  • At least some credit knowledge and analytical capabilities for assessment of NBFI lending and ancillary products
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills applicable through written, spoken, workshops and presentation channels
  • Team player and self-starter, be able to set and manage own agenda, while ensuring alignment with stakeholder priorities
  • The ability to be flexible and be able to respond quickly to change
