A leading organization in the field of Cyber Security Technologies is seeking a skilled IT Technician and Support Specialist to enhance its IT service and support team in Singapore.

Position Summary

The IT Technician and Support Specialist will be responsible for delivering comprehensive IT support across the APJ region. This role involves providing first-line assistance for desktop and laptop systems, applications, mobile devices, and other related technologies. Key responsibilities include responding to user inquiries, managing end-user assets, setting up accounts for new employees (both local and remote), and deploying computers along with necessary system access.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems and network issues.
  • Address support tickets promptly while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction within established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Install and configure laptops, printers, phones, operating systems, applications, and other essential equipment.
  • Image computers according to specifications using tools such as SCCM/JAMF/MDM.
  • Maintain Active Directory and provide support for Office 365 and corporate software.
  • Assist in the deployment of new applications and hardware.
  • Repair and provide support for equipment as needed.
  • Act as the security liaison for the local office, ensuring adherence to security guidelines and policies.
  • Undertake additional tasks and projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in a helpdesk support role with a strong troubleshooting aptitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office products, Mac OS, and Mac management.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Exchange administration (including email accounts, distribution lists, shared mailboxes).
  • Strong relationship management skills with stakeholders across the APJ region.
  • Proven ability to handle support requests effectively while prioritizing tasks.
  • Team-oriented approach within both regional and global contexts.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with flexible hours.
  • Chinese speaking skills will be a bonus for internal & external communications and engagement
